We've done it before and a good time was had by all. So lets do it again.
 
Meet up from 12.30 pm at The Causeway, a couple of miles south of Redhill on the A23. Good pub/steakhouse-type menu, reasonable prices, kids play area, comfortable and clean, friendly service and all your karaoke friends (hopefully) to chat to without having to shout over the loud music. Christmas crackers will be supplied, so everyone gets to pull. Even me!!!

We can stay as long as we like, so if you can only manage to pop in for a mid afternoon pint, then you're still welcome.
 
You will possibly get to meet my new grand daughter too! The book is open now on the date/time for the birth - see separate thread....
 
So come on everyone. Don't be shy....hands up now......

Ah - I had no idea!!!!  If it's no more then obviously there will be a problem!  I will put on my thinking cap and see what I can come up with, so watch this space. Open to suggestions guys ....

 
Later: May have found an alternative venue, not a million miles away, and fairly 'central' - for the southern contingent anyway. Going to test it out tonight. Providing the results are good, will put the details up tomorrow.
 
Can I please stress that this is open to all-comers, and is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has not yet met others to come along and say hello. Don't be shy - we don't bite (unless you ask really nicely....!)

The only place I know is The Gypsy Moth but not be as accessible for the southerners!
 
It has a major play area, but the smoking areas is a no children area.

Not far from Chipstead Station, and also at least one (and probably more) bus stops right outside. Track down yourself which one it is, or wait until I do so!
 
It's a Hungry Horse Pub. Food is cheap and cheerful but passable, N/S in restaurant as most of them are now, childrens play area, and they are amenable to setting aside an area for our use.
 
Steak, chicken-type-things, burgers, pies, curries, childrens menu. Coke is £1.45 for a big glass, and the coffee is outright DISGUSTING (instant dishwater) but only 99p (I'm honest if nothing else!). Nice unhealthy desserts (recommend the Snickers cake!)
 
Now, can I have a head count please. Come on everybody - we enjoyed ourselves last year. Remember?
