Singers. going to a brand new Karaoke? Visiting a Karaoke you haven't been to for at least a year?
Write up a review and send it via email to me and I will post it up. KJ's going out of your patch? I will accept Mystery Singer reviews |

This is good news for me - but sadly I'm hibernating from next week onwards.

Just a little baffled Joy???
Why write a review and e-mail it to you to post up? Why not do what we do now and just post it ourselves? Am I missing something?

The idea of a myserty review is that you don't know who wrote it. For a unique (compliment) writing style such as yours, it may be a moot point.

As far as I'm concerned, I shall not be partaking in this. Although I can see its relevance, as a KJ, I do not feel it to be professional. I realise it is anonymous but if I have something to say, I would rather have my name attached to it.

Yeah, I think I'm with Steve on this! Whether I am being complimentary or critical, I think it's only fair tothe person I am complimenting or criticising, that I put my name to the comments.
Interesting idea Joy, but I'm afraid it's not one I agree with.

Having read your comments, I have to side with Joy on this one. I've seen some really ropey 'karaokes' here in Barnsley (Barnsley???). Yep karaoke is alive and well'ish in Barnsley. I would love to leave comments on some of them with my name attached - but I'm weak, so I won't; 'cos the comments would be rather diparaging. (Great word, disparaging).
On the other hand, I would welcome criticism of my karaoke, because I think I have a great product. If people feel the need to say I'm bad in some way, then I would welcome that and learn from it. I don't really get people saying bad things about my karaoke 'cos it's damn good. Forunately I'm quite modest - so I don't have to brag about it too much.
